Who? This family event will be attended by Western Washington families who have children with autism and their friends.
What? This event will provide a safe and fun Trick-or-Treat and Harvest Party for children affected by autism and is a fundraiser to help TACA continue to provide important services to families affected by autism at no cost. The event will feature:
  • Gluten-Free Casein-Free Trick-or-Treating

  • Gluten-Free Casein-Free Cupcake Walk

  • Fun Free Activities:
    Craft Bags – kitty, witch, ghost
    Spooky Cards
    Pumpkin painting
    Hay Ride
    Face painting
    Cupcake Walk
    Petting Farm
    Hay Maze

  • Silent Auction for great items and services

This event will happen rain or shine - activities and Trick-or-Treating will be under cover inside a large barn at the farm. Gluten-/Casein-free treat options will be provided.

When? Saturday, October 31, 2009, 10 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Where? Schilter Family Farm in the Nisqually Valley (south of Dupont)

  • This event will happen rain or shine

  • Schilter Farm will be open for regular business – admission to the farm is free. Some activities and items for purchase at the farm are not included with the TACA party.
  • No tickets will be mailed – all registrants will be on our check-in list

TACA provides support, education and information to more than 15,000 families nationwide who are touched by autism through monthly education and support meetings, parent mentoring, the Autism Journey Guide, as well as seminars and conferences. Ninety-five percent of TACA’s services are provided at NO cost. Donating to TACA offers companies the opportunity to build public and community relations as well as improve the quality of life of employees and customers. By supporting a cause that affects one in 150 children, you are directly supporting your community.
